NXT : The Show For The Girlies
Hey, Wrestling Girly Pops! Lola J. here 🖤🎀✨
In the Internet Wrestling Community (IWC) and in every company, there’s always this chatter about who has the best women’s division in the industry. And although it’s a personal opinion, there kind of is a right answer at this point.
And that answer is: NXT

WWE’s third brand NXT is a melting pot for so much pure pro wrestling at this point that it’s on a level on it’s own at this point. The women’s division is absolutely stacked with talent from all over the world and from different backgrounds. From Stardom in Japan, to the independent scene & other companies from all over to homegrown talent in athletes from the Next In Line Program, the women’s division is the most diverse in wrestling today.
But not only that, the female superstars get ample time to preform and showcase their talents. It doesn’t feel like they’re held back in anyway. There was a recent episode that the entire first hour was dedicated to women’s matches and segments. They didn’t even announce it as “ladies night” or whatever. It felt organic and really cool.
Although they aren’t the pioneers of women’s wrestling, they really have put it on the map lately with really investing time and energy in their women. Is it perfect? No, nothing is. But you can see that they try to be that company or promotion that focuses on their talent. Yes, it was and is in many ways a “developmental brand” but now it’s more of its own focused identity, if that makes sense.
Now WWE NXT has their own YouTube channel where they show old full matches and shows. It’s a wonderful way to learn the history of NXT, especially if you don’t know where to start. So check it out if you haven’t yet and see some of the past of the third WWE brand.
Currently the division is on a hot streak. 🔥 They got ladies from the main roster coming down to Orlando, FL to the WWE Performance Center so they can get a piece of the action. As well as the Total Nonstop Action (TNA) Knockouts (females) with their new partnership with the NXT brand. So needless to say, there’s talent galore! ✨
So that’s all for now girlies! Who’s your favorite NXT female superstar or do you agree that it’s currently the best division in wrestling? Let me know in the comments down below!
Stay Weird, Girly Pops!
