No but in all seriousness this is very important for the wrestling girly pops. The first ever women’s intercontinental champion was crowned on WWE Raw on Netflix.
12 female WWE Superstars battled it out in a tournament to contend for the finals for this new prestigious title. And it the end there were two: Dakota Kai and Lyra Valkyria.
Both found success in NXT with Kai being a former Tag team champion and Lyra being a former NXT women’s champion but had yet to find gold on the main roster.
But tonight was time for them to prove themselves on Raw.

It was a hard fought battle mostly because they have waited so long for this moment and was it a suplex? to the floor was brutal.
I was rooting for Dakota and I’ll go more in depth about why she deserves to be champion in another post but for now I just wanted to open up the conversation.
